Miami-Dade CERT Graduating Class

CERT schools

On November 13, 2013, a graduation ceremony was held at D.A. Dorsey Educational Center to present the FIRST  vocational Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) for Miami-Dade County Public Schools. During their training, these students were taught how to respond responsibly and safely if a disaster were to occur in their community.

This training was facilitated by Robert Page of the American Red Cross and made possible through the efforts of Ms. Ebony Jackson, who works with the youth population and educates them on the importance of preparedness.
